Go to MILESTONE 1 ASSESSMENT on your task dashboard and finish up the ELA 1.1 Assessment in the bottom box. Turn it in the way I showed you Friday when you finish.

Independent Reading

Posted by Brad Robert in English 2: 1,2 on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 8:21 am

If you’re done your STAR test, and your work from last week, you’re going to start independent reading today.

We are focusing on the beginning of a story today. If you are already reading something, you may either go back and reread the beginning, or start something new.

Here is a list of places to find something to read, but feel free to pick something else. You can do a regular book, a comic, an audio book, whatever works for you. Pick something YOU like.

Focus on what the creator does in the beginning to introduce the story, and get you interested in it. We’ll be starting our reading journal (graded) near the end of class.
