Ms. Ramirez Capstone

My project for the seniors this year was to help the school implement and develop the Senior Capstone Design Project. It was the first ever for the Building 21 Allentown school and I know that our seniors are going to do a great job. With the help of leadership and my co-teacher, Mrs. Fields, we researched different ways schools have done the capstone project in the past and are still working to create Building 21’s best way. This year’s project was not perfect, but it has been an amazing adventure to see the concepts and ideas that our students have selected for their projects. We will seek feedback from students to help mold the process for next year. I’d love to research more about a small amount of funding that could be specific for seniors and the capstone project. They could apply for the funding like a scholarship and I believe this could help make some seniors’ capstone ideas really come to life.

A Final Farewell - to the wonderful seniors who made each day bright, challenging, fun and stressful, you will be missed. We wish you nothing but the best as you embark on this new journey of life after high school. Effort and hard work pays off. Go forward and conquer. But remember, your family at B21 will always be here when you need a familiar face and push in the right direction.
