Cool down for Lesson 1

Posted by Barb Miller in Algebra 2: 6 on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 6:11 pm

My apologies for this taking longer than I expected to post: When you look at classwork choose the Assistments that is labeled Lesson 1.4 on Cool Down Lesson 1. I’ll need to figure out why the titles are appearing different and avoid that in the future! Enjoy this beautiful weather! “See” you tomorrow!

Link for Assistments

Hello -

Below is the link for Assistments to complete practice problems (we will typically do these problems as a class) and cool downs - that is all you to see what you know. Look under the Classwork tab to find the material.

If the link doesn’t take you directly to Google Classroom - copy and paste it in a new tab.

The y's of advisory

Posted by Barb Miller on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 3:00 pm

Why might advisory matter to me?

It gives me a great opportunity to get to know my homeroom - school life and whatever else they want to share with me about home life.

Why might advisory matter to my peers and teachers? You can build new friendships with your peers. I contact advisory teacher when a student (that is not in my advisory) has a question or a problem or a celebration!

Why could advisory impact my future? It is the go to for help!

Trying out the schedule for Thursday

Posted by Barb Miller in Advisory: 10 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 11:24 am

Follow Thursdays schedule this afternoon from 12 to 12;50 - you will visit each class for 10 minutes. You can access the zoom links for each class from Courses, find the icon that is for the class you are looking for (hover over the blue part and the name of the course will appear) and the zoom link should be under the announcements. If the zoom link is not there - you can find all the teachers zoom room links in this document:

Whew - you survived day one!

Posted by Barb Miller in Advisory: 10 on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 3:41 pm

You did a lot of hard work today - be proud of yourself! Don’t worry if you are confused; the procedure to submit work is the same for all the classes and soon you will be doing fine with it.

To review the tutorials - Click on the box above labeled students, at the bottom of the drop down click Tutorial, click Google Sites (in blue print). We watched the videos on Slate, Google, and the task dashboard. They are available to you anytime you need them.

To access the first task: above on the Tools icon, choose task dashboard, next to the task is a plus, click the plus to expand the unit. Open Milestone #1 - review the lesson or complete the task..Follow the steps listed on the assessment. Remember to change the rights to editor so we can make comments right on the document. Submit the link! You are done!
