As you read, ask yourself - why did the Founding Fathers put this branch of government first? Are all 3 branches equal, or is any one more powerful than the others? WHy or why not?

Today you will complete George Washington’s Farewell Address. Please submit it by the end of class today.

Now that you have seen a dramatic depiction of some of the events of the Founding era, it is time to learn from the messages imparted by America’s first President upon his retirement.

Go to Task Dashboard and open “Washington’s Farewell Address.”
