So I did a dumb thing over the weekend and I need to get my foot x-rayed today. I’d much rather be with you!!
PLEASE - I need to see you turning in your missing work! Use today to pick a task and turn it in - we reviewed your outstanding work on Friday. If you do not have any Ms for me, open the task called SS.2 opportunity (due 1/28) and work through it - this will finish the SS.2s for you!

1) The January 6 Activity was due yesterday. Please review your competency dashboards - if you need a rating for SS.1.1 and SS.1.5 this is your last opportunity to earn those skills. If you do not have ratings for those skills you will have to repeat this course in the spring semester.
2) Today we will begin the task that will earn both SS.4.1 and SS.4.2. Please open the “SS.4 Silent Spring and Environmental Activism” task and wait for me to begin.

I miss you all a ton. I’m so sorry - I won’t be back this week. I’m doing fine. I hope you are making good use of your time in our classroom - you can keep earning ratings even though I’m at home!!
Today and tomorrow you have 2 jobs:
1) Complete the January 6 activity and submit it. It’ll be worth SS1.1 and 1.5 for each of you.
2) Check your dashboards and turn in some missing work - lets get those dashboards full!

Today we will be comparing the events of January 6, 2021 to events from the Reconstruction era to determine whether last year’s events are a continuation of a pattern from the past, or whether they are a change (SS.1.5).
Please open the task titled “January 6 SS.1.1-1.5 Activity. Today you need to make a copy of the slide deck for yourself so that you can share your answers with me.
This will take us Monday and Tuesday to complete.

You are to continue working on Milestone 5. If you have a completed introduction, find a partner who also has one, share them with each other, and complete the feedback step at the end of Stepping Stone 1.
Otherwise pick up where you left off and keep working. If you have completed Stepping Stone 1 move on to Stepping Stone 2, then 3, etc.
