I miss you a ton! I need to be out for the rest of the week - I’m so sorry! I’m fine - and can’t wait to return to our classroom.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the beginning of the book. For Today and Friday, please take back the packets from Monday - the ones where you agreed/disagreed with the quotes about justice. Using the reading (pages 3-43) please answer the discussion questions inside the packet. We will share our answers with each other on Tuesday.

I’d like you to start the book today :-)

We have an audiobook to follow along with, but I can’t leave it for you - I have to log in to use it.

Today I want you to give it a try on your own. Everyone grab a book (if the box of books isn’t here send someone to Mr. Solano’s room to fetch them). Start on page 3. Keep reading for the entire class and stop if you get to page 43 (it goes FAST!) You may read alone or in pairs or small groups.

Make sure to put the books back for the next class :-)
